‘Hello Love, do you know anyone that wants to buy an ostrich blue Birkin bag? My client is selling it.”
When I was not interested Luke called to say his client had other genuine Hermes handbags she was selling and he sent texts with pictures shown throughout this website. He confirmed he was sure all handbags were genuine Hermes Birkin bags that ‘his client/friend’ who was very rich just wanted to sell.
Theft by Deception in Akin to Conning....
My trust and actions noted on these pages were based on a near 20 year ‘friendship’ with Luke Destin. However, Luke’s actions and/or lack of actions in the matter described can only categorize Luke Destin as a ‘bad actor’
- ‘bad actor’, noun plural bad actors : a person, group, country, etc. who purposely and usually repeatedly engages in very bad behavior (such as committing crimes or causing harm to others)
Summer 2024:
28 August 2024: A letter has been sent RRR from law firm to Luke Destin stating… ‘Your actions surrounding this transaction are tantamount to theft by deception”.
What is theft by deception?
- A theft by deception definition would be common to that of conning. A person intentionally and purposely obtains property/money that belongs to someone else through deceptive tactics. Theft by deception is very similar to the general criminal act of theft in that it entails taking someone else’s property or services on purpose. However, this particular theft crime has the added notion of deception or trickery involved. Generally speaking, in such cases, the victim of the crime relies upon the deceit, or lies, that are claimed as truths by the thief.
- 16-8-3. Theft by deception (a) A person commits the offense of theft by deception when he obtains property by any deceitful means or artful practice with the intention of depriving the owner of the property. (b) Promises performance of services which he does not intend to perform or knows will not be performed.
Luke Destin (aka Sir Luke Destin)
Destin inquired by text:
‘Hello Love, do you know anyone that wants to buy an ostrich blue Birkin bag? My client is selling it.”
His very wealthy good client and friend had many she was selling at a great price. One could choose which they liked, send the money to Luke’s Zelle account and he would take care of getting the bag from his client and shipping the bag(s) directing to the buyer. He further added he could promise delivering authentic Hermes Birkin handbag(s) that his friend/client was selling.
Once I decided on the bags Luke asked that I Zelle the money – a partial amount of money was sent via Zelle since I was new to Zelle and them limited the amount I could sent.
Balance to be sent upon receipt of hard copy authentication and receipt of handbag.
as of Aug 28th: no authentication, no bag and no $ returned.
….and SIR Luke Destin as he calls himself… is not returning text messages or phone calls.

Legal and Other Actions
A. In spite of the fact that Luke Destin has received several text and phone messages from July to September asking he return the money or send the handbag with authentication documentation he has failed to do so.
August 28 – legal counsel was engaged and sent a letter registered mail RRR to Luke Destin stating: “Your actions surrounding this transaction are tantamount to theft by deception…” Luke Destin was given 10 days to return the money OR send the handbag with full documentation of authenticity from his friend/client selling the bags. He refused the notice and the law firm sent another letter Registered Mail RRR. As of Sept 19 he refused the notice and he has not responded to email or voice mail messages. If this fails to secure requested resolution formal legal proceeding against Destin will be filed in the courts in Atlanta or wherever he resides.
Sept 19 – It has become increasingly clear that Luke Destin took the money from me under false pretense. “Theft by Deception. He was called and messaged repeatedly advising him if this was not settled and my money returned web sites would be launched telling the truth with pictures and text message directly from Luke validating his intention to commit ‘theft by deception’ .
B. www.lukedestin.com AND http://www.sirlukedestin.com have been launched to alert others of the egregious actions of Luke Destin as outlined herein.
U P D A T E ……..
On Sept 19 Luke Destin was sent a link to www.lukedestin.com AND www.sirlukedestin.com
HIS RESPONSE:
23 September from Luke Destin: ‘Too bad that’s not my name. However I will get your money back from my client. It should take about a month.
…..Followed by the message: ‘This person is unavailable on Messenger” therefore no response could be sent. Games… he continues to lie and play games.
Although he has said this over a month ago once before … no money has been returned.
AND>>> IF the client had the money for the handbag… then the client would send the handbag.
Hey Luke… When will you stop the lies?
